The lives of those who perished in the Westray Mine Disaster are commemorated by this
large memorial outside New Glasgow N.S.. Designed and manufactured by Heritage, the
memorial is made from Hallmark Black granite and polished on all sides. The memorial sits
on the site above the location where the men were believed to be.
